  • 19th Air Force leadership visits the 33rd Fighter Wing

    Maj. Gen. Craig D. Wills, 19th Air Force commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Kristina Rogers, 19th Air Force command chief, visited the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, June 7-8.  Wills and Rogers visited the 33rd FW to meet with the Airmen, host a commander’s call to discuss the updates to pilot training, and learn about rated diversity and community outreach efforts conducted by the 33rd FW personnel.

  • Seventh episode for AETC’s Real Talk focuses on LGBTQI+

    Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, commander of Air Education and Training Command, to host the seventh episode of AETC Real Talk: Race and Diversity in the Air Force, June 17 at 3 p.m. Central time, CDT, on AETC’s Facebook page. The episode will focus on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex population within the Air Force. Joining Webb for this discussion will be Brig. Gen. Brenda Cartier, incoming AETC’s director of operations and communications.

    58th Fighter Squadron conduct night flying operations April 26-30, 2021, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Flying at night fulfills pilot's training requirements to prepare them for the Combat Air Forces. 
  • Rated Preparatory Program now accepting applications for FY21 Fall class

    Active duty Air Force officers and enlisted personnel interested in becoming rated officers have until May 25, 2021 to apply for the Fall 2021 Rated Preparatory Program that is scheduled to be held Sept. 11-25, 2021.
  • 33rd AMXS Welcomes New Commander

    The 33rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron welcomed their new commander during a change of command ceremony, April 23, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.  Maj. Lindsay Christopherson assumed command from Lt. Col. Josephine Beacham before the presiding officer, Col. David Moreland, 33rd Maintenance Group commander, members of the 33rd Fighter Wing, the 33rd AMXS, friends and family. Current safety guidelines for COVID-19 were implemented.

    The 58th Fighter Squadron is scheduled to conduct night flying operations in the area April 26 - 30 between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.

Webb visited the 33rd FW to meet with the Airmen who make the mission happen, discuss community initiatives and support to local programs with civic leaders, and learn about the Nomads’ focused efforts on rated diversity improvement.

Seventy years ago, the Italian Republic recognized this day as National Unity and Armed Forces Day. A date that summarizes the founding values of a national identity long pursued by the Italian people. A day in which the Armed Forces and the Italian people remember the fallen of all the wars that contributed, up to the last extreme sacrifice, to freedom and democracy for the future of the Italian Republic.
