Eglin Inns, operates two front desk locations conveniently located on either side of the base.
Their 24-hour reception center operates near the Bayside Inn on Eglin's west side, and the White Sands Inn front desk is open 7 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.
On base lodging provides a variety of quarters, available to active duty and retired military members, DOD civilians, their families and guests. The Eglin Inns also partners with several local lodging facilities in case on-base rooms are full.
All guest rooms include microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, free local telephone calls, TVs, and DVD players.
A select number of Temporary Lodging Facilities are also pet friendly.

Members assigned to a tenant wing on Eglin AFB must also check in with the installation military personnel section.
To be accessioned to Eglin AFB, members must visit Customer Support in bldg. 210, 2nd floor, Rm 203, Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
In-bound personnel with issues related to rank will need to bring their BMT and tech school graduation certificates along with a commander's recommendation letter (if applicable).
All incoming Airmen should bring records from their previous base or school and their IDA worksheet from their unit's command support staff.
Specific times and dates for Right Start will be given while in-processing with your unit. These briefings from various base agencies will provide newcomers an opportunity to learn about the local area and Eglin AFB.
During the briefing, medical, TMO, legal and finance representatives will be on site to provide specific in-processing services. This is to ensure members' medical, household goods, and finance information is updated within the AFI prescribed timeline and to prevent any delays in cases of an unforeseeable emergency.
To receive mail until a permanent address is established, members need to contact their Unit's Commander Support Section (CSS) to receive a temporary mailing address.
If you are living in the dormitories, you will receive an AF Form 624, base/unit locator and directory from your orderly room. Packages and mail are held for 30 days or more if needed. Please note there is limited space available in the post office. Please check mail periodically.

Members are required to sign into their gaining unit immediately upon arrival to the 33rd FW. If arrival is after duty hours, members will report to their gaining unit the following duty day.
Once gained to the unit, the member will be provided an Initial Duty Assignment worksheet, a unit specific checklist and information to start in-processing the base.
All members not assigned to the dormitory are mandated to see a housing representative per AFI 32-6001.
No appointment necessary as walk-ins are always welcome. Members will need to bring a copy of their orders; dependent information and/or step dependent verification (i.e. divorce decree or managing conservatorship documentation).
The housing office can assist you with locating safe, affordable housing or apartments in the local area. Housing is located at 2950 Azalea Dr. Bldg. 38499 and can be reached at (850) 882-4533 or DSN 872-4533. They are open Monday- Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm.
Once a member has selected housing, delivery of their personal household goods can be scheduled with the Personal Property Shipping Office, TMO.
