Misty FACs Inspire Next Generation during 33rd FW Tour

Members of the Misty Forward Air Controllers visited the 33rd Fighter Wing for a tour to celebrate the 55-year reunion of the volunteer pilots at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, Oct. 14, 2022. Misty FACs were an all-volunteer group of fighter pilots whose primary objectives were to locate and mark targets for other aircraft and support rescues to recover downed aircrew during the Vietnam War.
