60th FS Flagship Tail Flash Prep

A U.S. Air Force 33rd Maintenance Squadron corrosion control Airman preps a High Volume Low-Pressure paint gun for a paint job Oct. 22, 2021, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. A team of five personnel worked over several days to strip and sand the paint off of a newly acquired F-35A Lightning II, so the 60th Fighter Squadron tail flash could be placed on its flagship jet.
