EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The F-15 Eagle shown here, displayed at the corner of Nomad Way and Eglin Blvd., was restored by the 33rd Maintenance Squadron corrosion section during the last two weeks of March. Ten Airmen spent more than 72 hours washing, painting and restenciling the lettering on this aircraft that serves as a gateway to the 33rd Fighter Wing, located on Nomad Way.
