Working dog retirement

Master Sgt. Matthew Bowling (right), the 71st Security Forces Squadron operations superintendent, passes the leash of military working dog Samo to Tech. Sgt. Shawn Brunzdo, the 71st SFS kennel master, during Samo’s retirement ceremony Nov. 10 in the Base Auditorium. Brundzo, one of the dog’s prior handlers, adopted Samo. Military Working Dog handlers are afforded the opportunity to adopt their partners upon the dog’s retirement.
