War Heroes Memorial in San Antonio

Julio Zamora, a senior at South San Antonio High School, and architect Jorge Flores stand near the site of where the War Heroes Memorial will be built. Zamora holds a transcribed illustration of his design, Nov. 6, 2014, which was created in a program used by professional architects to manipulate various architectural symbols. The memorial is meant to commemorate native San Antonio veterans, from across the military services, who have lost their lives serving their country. (U.S. Air Force photo illustration by 1st Lt.
