United Kingdom pilot, Lt. Cmdr. Ian Tidball, became the first Royal Navy student-pilot to fly a sortie in the F-35B Lightning II April 10 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Lt. Col. David Berke, commander, Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron-501 congratulates Tidball after his flight. The Eglin Navy F-35B pilots fly with the Marine unit.
