A Look Inside AETC

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Airman 1st Class Gracie Cudney watches the instructor and a fellow student use a dummy to practice taking blood during an 882nd Training Group Aerospace Medical Service Apprentice course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, in the summer of 2009. The 82nd Training Wing is AETC’s largest and most diverse technical training wing, producing more than 77,000 technical training graduates annually—more than half of the command's total. Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and international students participate in more than 1,000 courses in aircraft maintenance; nuclear and conventional munitions; avionics; medical, dental and pharmacy; civil engineering; logistics; telecommunications; aerospace ground equipment; egress, life support and survival; and metals technology.
