FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- A 66th Training Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape specialist, explains proper triangulation technique during the desert survival training phase to a hopeful SERE candidate. The 336th Training Group is the sole manager of all U.S. Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape training. Instruction concentrates on the principles, techniques and skills necessary to survive in any environment and return home. The 336th TRG conducts ten courses at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash.; the Arctic Survival Course at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska; and water survival training at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fla.
