CV-22 in flight

CV-22 Osprey in Flight. A CV-22 Osprey assigned to the 58th Special Operations Wing at Kirtland AFB, N.M. completed the first search and recovery mission for the aircraft Oct. 5, 2007 when the crew helped locate a downed civilian medical aircraft in the mountains of southern Colorado. All three aboard the downed plane were killed, but Air Force crews were instrumental in quickly locating the site so the victims' remains could be recovered. (U.S. Air Force photo by Markus Maier)
