Lamia, the namesake of the Lamia Afghan Foundation, a non-profit organization found by retired Lt. Gen. John and Jan Bradley, poses for a photo during one of the Bradleys trips. They met in 2007 when Lamia pushed her way through a crowd to as a 9-year-old to ask the general for a pair of boots for her cold feet. The Bradleys have collected and delivered more than two million pounds of aid for Afghanistan Mid-January 2010.
