BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Capt. Patrick Smyth (right) and 2nd Lt. Sarah Flackus, 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron "Kingpin" company grade officers, sort items donated by Balad personnel for distribution to the local Iraqi people who live near Balad Air Base. Since February 2008, base personnel have donated more than 15,000 items weighing more than 3,000 pounds for distribution to the local population.
