Lt. Col. Todd Jaax, 58th Fighter Squadron commander, completes the customs declaration upon landing his F-15C Eagle at 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta for Maple Flag 41 Period Two May 17. Maple Flag is a four week international air combat exercise held annually at 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta. The exercise provides Canadian and allied aircrew with realistic training in a modern simulated air combat environment, and emphasizes air operations involving large package coalition forces.
