54th ARS instructor pilot helps recover missing Oklahoma boy’s body

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Capt. Greg Auerbach, 54th Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 Stratotanker instructor pilot, and his Search and Rescue K-9 German Sheppard, Ronnie, play on the flight line June 15, 2011. Capt. Auerbach and Ronnie were one of three K-9 Search and Rescue handler volunteer teams from the Central Oklahoma Search and Rescue that found the body of the missing Piedmont, Okla. boy May 26, 2011. Capt. Auerbach has been involved with search and rescue for 17 years, eight of those spent prior to joining the Air Force.
