Gen. Stephen R. Lorenz, AETC commander, administered the Oath of Enlistment to Staff Sgt. Joshua Jones, 345th Air Force Recruiting Squadron recruiter, as he volunteered for another four years of service. "It was an honor and a privilege to re-enlist Sergeant Jones," the general said. The general also thanked the sergeant's wife, Jennifer, for supporting him and helping him serve. While there, General Lorenz asked the recruiter how he not only continually meets but almost doubles his recruiting goals. "I just try and set a good example," Sergeant Jones said. "When they see what it's like in the Air Force, the rest is easy." He said he wanted to be a recruiter to make a difference, not only in the Air Force, but in people's lives. In addition to his wife, Sergeant Jones' squadron commander, Lt. Col. Michael Romero, his squadron superintendent Chief Master Sgt. Eric Scott and his first sergeant, Senior Master Sgt. Jennifer Ostrander, were in attendance for the re-enlistment.
