Meet U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Chad Sebero, an instructor pilot with the 58th Fighter Squadron, 33rd Fighter Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Sebero hails from Marinette, Wisconsin, and commissioned into the U.S. Air Force in May 2001.

“I joined the Air Force to serve my country while hoping to see the world and gain experiences only the military could provide,” said Sebero.

Sebero says that his parents have always inspired his work ethic and success.

“My parents demonstrated to my brothers and me how far determination and hard work can take you in life,” said Sebero.

Returning to his home state, Sebero traveled to Wisconsin with the 58th Fighter Squadron to participate in exercise Nothern Lightning last month.

“My favorite part of the exercise was employing the F-35 in a large-force exercise environment with multiple different platforms against a challenging threat scenario,” said Sebero.

Outside of work, Sebero enjoys any activities that keep him active and outdoors.

“If you’re interested in serving your country while working with some of the most professional individuals in the world,” said Sebero. “The Air Force just might be for you.”
