A day in the life of...
Mark Curtis, Channel 12 news anchor, interviews Senior Airman Melanie Holochwost, 56th Fighter Wing Public Affairs specialist, after their "dog fight," a form of aerial combat between fighter aircraft, in the F-16 simulators May 25 at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Mr. Curtis visited several locations at Luke as a part of Channel 12's 24-hour all-access pass. Thirteen clips aired May 24 and May 25, informing the local community that F-16 pilots are just one element of Luke's mission. Without maintainers, life support technicians, air traffic controllers and other "behind-the-scenes" Airmen, pilots wouldn't be able to do their jobs safely and effectively.
