The 2012 Air Education and Training Symposium will be held Jan. 12-13, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The Symposium will have numerous speakers, presentations and two luncheons over both days, and will focus on ideas consistent to AETC such as recruiting, training, educating and innovating.

The keynote speaker for the Jan. 13 luncheon will be retired Army Maj. Gen. Josue Robles, Jr., President and CEO of USAA.

Another event, separate from the AETC symposium, is the Air Force Association Exposition. This event offers military, industry, and education exhibitors and vendors the opportunity to display leading innovations relating to the recruiting, training, and educating of Airmen. The Exposition will include breakfast and be open throughout each day of the Symposium.

The final event will be the AETC Banquet scheduled for Jan. 13 in the Texas Ballroom at Grand Hyatt Hotel. It will include cocktails, dinner, and a special recognition to honor AETC Warriors under this year's Theme: Honor our Heroes.

The2012 AETC Symposium is open to the public and welcomes anyone who would like to attend. The Air Education and Training Command is the foundation for success in the Air Force and will continue to advance its programs with ideas shared during the Symposium "to develop America's Airmen today... for tomorrow."
