GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --

Goodfellow graduated it’s first completely virtual Airman Leadership School, Class 20-E, here July 9.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their original class was canceled and set for a later date, once the pandemic would pass. However, with no end of COVID in sight, the class adapted to the challenge and forged a new path.

The graduation was done virtually, which allowed for family and friends from near and far to attend and celebrate with their Airmen. The course was the first of its kind on Goodfellow and although there were many obstacles, Class 20-E overcame.

Sixteen Airmen from across the nation attended this ALS class, where they learned supervisory duties, written and oral communication skills, and the profession of arms.
